A little about James…
I’m a Technical Recruitment Consultant, and have been with The Work Shop since December 2023. I previously worked as a Delivery Consultant within Defence Engineering.
How (and why) did you get into recruitment?
After passing my A-levels, I came to a crossroads between university and employment, and decided to jump into the world of sales as I felt like this was my calling… recruitment seemed like the next logical step after my first sales role, it’s helped me become more resilient, adaptable and communicate/liaise effectively with my customers and candidates.
What do you like best about recruitment/your job?
Recruitment is definitely hard work, but it’s also really rewarding – both financially and personally, especially when hearing testimonials from my clients and candidates!
And not work related…Who’s the most famous person you’ve ever met?
Met is a strong word, but I have been on a football pitch at the same time as Cristiano Ronaldo!
