Are you highly organised, proactive, and confident managing stock, logistics, and operational support in a fast-paced workshop or production environment? We’re looking for an Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to take full ownership of stock accuracy, support production planning, and ensure our goods move smoothly in and out of the business.

The Inventory & Logistics Coordinator is a hands-on, varied role where no two days look the same — perfect for someone who loves structure, problem-solving, and keeping operations running like clockwork.

Main duties of the Inventory & Logistics Coordinator

  • Ensure accurate stock inventory, updating the internal database for stock movements, asset tracking, and pricing.

  • Manage the location and status of all parts, including those sent for third-party processing.

  • Plan ahead by reviewing project orders up to 6 weeks in advance to identify necessary components.

  • Assist the production team with ordering and collecting consumables to maintain smooth operations and prevent production downtime.

  • Follow up on open purchase orders and help with supplier/sub-contractor selection based on performance.

  • Handle inbound goods, manage service returns, coordinate packing and dispatch logistics, and ensure timely delivery.

Key competences of the Inventory & Logistics Coordinator

  • Exceptional attention to detail: you’ll be handling high-value technical components where precision matters.

  • Forward-thinking and proactive: you spot shortages before they happen and plan ahead.

  • Strong communicator: able to keep engineers, project managers, and production teams updated clearly.

  • Tech-savvy: confident using ERP or stock management systems and maintaining accurate data.

  • A team-player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
