Our client has been distributing IT hardware nationally to computer resellers for over 28 years. Are you looking to join a friendly website team and help with the continuing growth of their ecommerce website? The main role of the position will be to work with the Website Manager and team to ensure the website is kept up to date and accurate.
Responsibilities will include:
Listing products on the website and ensuring that they are in keeping with the standards set by the current listings.
Processing orders, including contacting customers with any order related queries.
Contacting customers to help with any website related queries.
Managing online and data feed pricing.
Working closely with all other departments to ensure that any online information, product listings and pricing are accurate and up to date.
Calling newly registered customers in a sales capacity.
Speaking to manufacturers to ensure that their listings and presence on the website are in line with their expectations.
Competent written skills and a good understanding of basic maths.
Good communication skills and phone manner.
Ability to find accurate online information quickly.
Proficient use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Good organisational skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to work quickly and accurately.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Ability to multi task and prioritise multiple responsibilities.
Basic knowledge of IT hardware would be advantageous but not essential. Full training will be given.
Monday to Friday
8.30am – 5.30pm
37.5 hour working week (one hour for lunch plus breaks mid-morning & afternoon)
