Our client is a global supplier of Precision Engineering components seeking a Planning Engineer.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will work as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment liaising closely with their Customers, the production Department and sub-contract suppliers on all aspects from the supply of raw materials, machining, assembly and surface treatments of Aerospace components.

Other duties of the role involve:

• Detail out the processes and working instructions that are required for the production of a part to the Customer’s requirements
• Working with customers to understand their requirements
• Working with specialist suppliers for processes that may be required for the completion of a part

• Able to organise and prioritise workload effectively

• Able to deliver high quality customer service to both internal and external customers
• Responsible and reliable individual.

A good working knowledge of surface treatments would also be an advantage.

Salary: DOE – negotiable

The basic working hours are 39 per week, Monday to Thursday 7:30 – 4:30 & Friday 07:30 to 12:30.
