Finance Manager, Romsey £40K

Full-time, permanent & office based opportunity

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a well-founded and established business based in Romsey. The successful Finance Manager will have a financial background, previous management experience and strong organisational and administrative skills.

Main duties of the Finance Manager:

• Produce monthly invoices and manage company expenditure, including purchasing supplies.


• Input income and expenditure into accounting software and prepare monthly management accounts.


• Manage and reconcile company bank accounts, oversee cash flow, and control credit.


• Liaise with staff and accountants to manage payroll, including salaries, staff expenses, pensions, company cars, and other benefits.


• Compute VAT and produce VAT returns, liaise with company accountants at month/year-end, and review their outputs.


• Perform additional tasks as needed, encompassing administrative and office management duties.

 

Key skills and attributes of the Finance Manager:

• Previous experience in a finance or accountancy environment


• Hold an AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent qualification in accounting or business management


• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft software packages


• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks


• Highly organised, self-motivated and possesses a positive can-do attitude


• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels


• Dynamic, flexible, and resourceful individual with the ability to problem-solve


• Full UK driving licence and vehicle is required due to office location
