This is a unique and exciting role working for a fast growing company based in Bournemouth, that prides themselves on delivering exceptional service to their clients. Due to the continued success, they are now seeking a Sales Specialist Team Leader to join and lead their customer focused sales team.

The Sales Specialist Team Leader will manage and support a team of Sales Specialists, helping them to achieve business KPIs, focusing on compliance and driving performance through training and coaching in the development of their skills.

You will have strong leadership skills with an exceptional balance of people and technical attributes whilst also demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills, backing team engagement and continuous improvement. 

As a Sales Specialist Team Leader, you will be a role model for the team, overseeing and working with them to skilfully sell a large range of services to their customer base.

The main responsibilities are:

  • Working closely with the departmental Call Operations and Service Manager to deliver departmental performance and related projects
  • Supporting the development and capability of individuals through coaching and personal development plans
  • Completing monthly quality assurance checks for each team member ensuring compliance and consistency across the team
  • Onboarding and supporting new starters
  • Inspiring and motivating the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Lead team meetings and being a key point of contact for general team queries
  • Carrying out regular team training focussing on sales skills and departmental development gaps
  • Coordinate daily work plans, reporting and departmental KPIs
  • Achieving and exceeding realistic sales targets for a capable, motivated sales professional whilst ensuring our customers always experience outstanding levels of service

The successful candidate will be a first class mentor with excellent relationship building skills possessing relevant Team Leader, Sales and Customer Services experience.

Salary: circa £28,000 per annum plus commission
