Are you a ‘people person’ with a desire to make a difference? Do you have previous UK fundraising experience and are looking to go global?

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate and Community Fundraiser to work with an established, but expanding charity based near Southampton.

The role of Corporate and Community Fundraiser will be to work with the Fundraising Manager to implement the current 5-year fundraising strategy and future planned appeals.

This will involve:
• Growing income through corporate partnerships, community events and community partnerships
• Developing the new relationships which have resulted from growing awareness in recent national media coverage, social media activity and fresh marketing campaigns into long term income
• Attending networking or business events promoting the work of the Charity across the locations where they work
• Maintain records of all communications and engagement on the CRM system

As the Corporate and Community Fundraiser you will have proven previous experience in a fundraising role. You will have the ability to build relationships with corporate partners and identify new business opportunities, as well as experience of running successful local community fundraising campaigns.

You will be highly numerate and literate with confident presentation skills – you will be p[resenting to a range of audiences from businesses to children. You will also ideally be creative, with lots of ideas and the ability to hit the ground running in a dynamic and fast paced charity where there is always something new happening.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need a current driving license with your own transport as some travel within the UK may be required. There may also be an occasional requirement to work evenings and/or weekends. Flexibility is key.
