GDPR has been the topic of recent weeks and The Work Shop has been working hard to comply with the new Data Protection Regulations.
Candidates have always had the opportunity to have any details being held by us to be deleted (apart from details such as tax information if you have temped for us) but this new legislation puts more onus on us to make sure you are aware of those rights. The information we hold is usually what is regarded as “low grade” personal information, i.e. what is on your CV, and we have obtained that information either because you have sent your CV to us or you have uploaded it onto a Job Board which is in the public domain.
Obviously we cannot help you find work without a CV so having that on our database helps us to help you. BUT, if you do not want us to hold any information on you please let us know either by writing to us at our Ringwood office or by email at email@example.com
