Tax & Strategy – Client Case Study
This established and respected Accountancy firm were expanding, or at least trying to. They had tried advertising, which had been expensive and ultimately unsuccessful, and they were getting increasingly frustrated. The Work Shop introduced itself and explained how we could help. We agreed a very attractive fee structure (which was very competitive given the amount Tax & Strategy had already spent on advertising) and we were given instructions to find a qualified accountant. We immediately took a full brief during a visit to our new clients premises. This not only included what skills and experience were required but also, just as importantly, what personality would fit with the existing team.
Having got all the information we needed, we went to work. This entailed trawling through literally hundreds of CV’s sifting out those that might be suitable. That done we then started calling the list we had built, explaining the role but also asking lots of questions in order to establish if any were worth interviewing. The list got shorter, but really exciting. We had identified several high quality candidates and arranged to meet with them in order to make sure the personalities matched what Tax & Strategy were looking for. Over the next few days we met with everybody on the list and as a result of that we were able to put forward three potential candidates to our client. Interviews followed very quickly and Tax & Strategy were extremely pleased with the quality put forward and this subsequently resulted in them making a job offer which was accepted.
The service provided to Tax & Strategy went down so well, they then made The Work Shop their sole provider of recruitment services and we have gone on to supply other staff in the same way. We are looking forward to working with Tax & Strategy over the coming years.
