NDT TECHNICIAN

 

Privately owned business operating predominantly in the global aerospace sector and employing 189 staff at facilities occupying more than 72,000 sq.Ft. They have grown steadily over the last 12 years from its original factory in to a business now operating 3 factories across the UK. The company relates its success in terms of quality, reliability and subsequent growth to its policy of only employing skilled self-motivated personnel.

 

Our local client is seeking to fill two positions within their busy NDT department. Candidates must be highly motivated, work as a team, show attention to detail and can work to precise instructions.

 

An experienced NDT operator to work on a nightshift with the ideal candidate holding qualifications in Magnetic Particle Inspection, Penetrant Inspection and Etch Inspection methods to NAS410/EN4179 Level 2. Shift hours are 4pm to 2.30am Monday to Wednesday and 4pm to 1.30am Thursday. Salary including shift allowance is dependent on experience.

 

The second position required is for an experienced NDT operator to work on a dayshift. The candidate shall be qualified in a minimum of one discipline being either Penetrant Inspection or Magnetic Particle Inspection to NAS410/EN4179 Level 2. Day shift hours are 7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 3pm Friday. Salary is dependent on experience.

Aerospace experience would be advantageous but not essential.
