Credit Controller – SO51 – Romsey – Up to £20,000

 

Your role as a Credit Controller is to provide Credit Control for the company and to produce monthly reports for a business which annual turnover is 5.5 million.

Key responsibilities of a Credit Controller:

  • You will need to undertake account reconciliations as required
  • Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
  • You MUST Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed time scales Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity
  • Maintaining contact with customers to ensure all relevant debts are managed and are paid in a timely manner
  • Provide accurate advice on billing queries

Candidate Competencies for the ideal Credit Controller:

  • Experience/ knowledge of SAGE 50 accounting systems
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Excellent computer skills including; Excel, Word and outlook
  • 1 years’ experience of credit control and handling customer queries
  • Experience of working in accounts and using basic accounting practices, such as finance coding structures, petty cash, VAT, balancing and reconciling accounts/ledgers.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Credit Controller within a fast-growing business in Romsey offering an excellent package and free parking. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 05:30 Friday 09:00 – 04:30
