ADMIN/SALES ASSISTANT – BH12 – POOLE – £20,000 – £22,000 DOE

 

My very exciting, creative client work with some of the highest end brands in the UK. They are looking for a highly organised team player to “look after” and support the Managers and Sales Team.

 

PROFILE AND ROLE REPONSIBILITIES OF ADMIN/SALES ASSISTANT

 

Administration

  • Organising (and where required attending) trade shows for sales team
  • Preparing stock and stationary for trade shows
  • Maintaining sample bay and meeting room (including stock checks and replenishment)
  • Making up sample boxes for Account Managers
  • Collating and keeping track of samples for customers
  • Assisting other Account Managers with administration tasks or enquiries / brochure requests
  • Taking card payments
  • Maintaining and organising orderly structure to server files and folders

Customers

  • Assisting customers phone enquiries (limited) / assisting with online order enquiries or delivery issues
  • Adding customer records to CRM / Sage
  • Chasing customers for delivery information / payments
  • Processing web orders / adding to Sage
  • Assisting with Key Account Customers
  • International order spreadsheet and order collating
  • Sending info over to customers – i.e. barcodes/packaging info/brochures

Logistics

  • Printing daily sign off
  • Liaising with logistics on deliveries

 

PROFILE OF ADMIN/SALES ASSISTANT

 

    • Excellent Communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels Assisting with customers phone enquiries (limited) / assisting with online order enquiries or delivery issues
  • Excellent / Confident phone manner

 

  • Strong organisational and Project Management Skills
  • Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Eager to Learn, Motivated and Enthusiastic
  • A confident and professional attitude with the ability to proactively prioritise own time
  • Enthusiasm, energy and drive
  • Excellent attention to detail

 

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Sage 50 experience is a distinct advantage
  • A creative flair can also help, but is not essential
  • You must have a full UK license and access to your own vehicle
